Viridian Kids Classes

During our 75 min long signature kids class, students learn to sketch with charcoal, creating accurate drawings with value and shading. Soft pastels are the primary material used to create life-like artwork from still life and photographs. In addition, students have the opportunity to learn the basics of acrylic painting, watercolor, pen & ink and more. As students continue to grow, they will graduate to oil painting and learn more advanced techniques in composition, color mixing and matching, and how to build a finished work of art. This is an on-going class that runs throughout the school year.
