Viridian Art 15-Year Celebration: A Community Open House & Free Art Event

Viridian Art 15-Year Celebration- In a small warehouse in Tarzana back in 2011, two artists came together with a lot of paint and a big belief in what art education could be... and voila! Viridian Art was born!! We didn’t have a roadmap. We just knew that art mattered, and that people of all ages deserved a comprehensive art education with real life experiences.

Over the years, that small beginning grew into something much bigger than we could have ever imagined! We built a team of passionate instructors, welcomed a third partner, and opened a second studio in Agoura Hills in 2018. We have had an amazing upward journey, but not without a few setbacks. We navigated the Malibu fires and evacuations. We pivoted through pandemic shutdowns, teaching classes and hosting art parties online when the world slowed down. We made it through, and are better and stonger for it!

In 2023, we moved from Tarzana into our Woodland Hills studio, the biggest one yet! Suddenly, we had more space than we knew what to do with, but luckily, enough ideas to fill it. Six months later, we built out a full ceramics and pottery program, and have been loving every minute of it.

Viridian Art is turning 15- and here's where we are now:

• Two thriving studio locations in Woodland Hills and Agoura Hills

• A team of 20+ incredible art, ceramics, and sewing instructors

• Partnerships with local schools including LAUSD, LVUSD, and OPUSD

• Award-winning student artists
