We are beyond proud to celebrate our talented teen artists from Viridian Art in Woodland Hills and Agoura Hills whose work was recognized in this year’s Visions of Humanity Student Art Exhibition at the Autry Museum of the American West. This exhibition showcases exceptional student artwork from across Los Angeles, highlighting creativity, technical skill, and meaningful interpretation of a powerful theme.

7 Teen Art Finalists + One Award Winner
This year, seven of our teen art class artists were selected as finalists, an incredible accomplishment in such a competitive exhibition.
We are especially thrilled to share that one Viridian student received the award for Best Representation of Theme (High School Division)- a huge honor recognizing both artistic skill and the ability to communicate a thoughtful, compelling message.
We also had six of our 6th graders from Hesby Oaks Leadership Charter also selected for the exhibit.

*Selected artwork will be on view Saturday, April 18, to Sunday, May 31, 2026
Exploring the Theme: “Visions of Humanity”
The exhibition invited students to explore what it means to be human- through identity, emotion, connection, and perspective.
Our students rose to the challenge with:
Concept-driven artwork
Strong technical foundations in drawing, painting, and mixed media
Personal storytelling and emotional depth
This is exactly what we focus on in our teen art classes in Woodland Hills and Agoura Hills- helping students move beyond “crafts” into meaningful, skill-based fine art.
Celebrating All of Our Teen Artists
While we are so proud of our finalists, we also want to recognize the many talented students who created and submitted artwork for this exhibition.
Art is not just about selection or awards-it’s about:
Taking creative risks
Developing your voice
Showing up and completing meaningful work
These pieces were thoughtful, expressive, and beautifully executed, and we are just as proud of the artists behind them.
Why Experiences Like This Matter
Participating in exhibitions like this gives students real-world artistic experience:
Displaying artwork in a professional museum setting
Building confidence and presentation skills
Creating portfolio-quality work for high school and college applications
At Viridian Art Academy, our programs are designed to support serious artistic growth while still nurturing creativity and individuality.
